For more than 70 years, the District has been dedicated to the conservation of natural resources in Atlantic and Cape May Counties. Through programs that address soil erosion and sediment control on construction sites to farmland preservation efforts, the supervisors and staff of the Cape Atlantic Conservation District have helped protect our soil and water. Education programs for the children and the citizens of our District stress the importance of natural resource conservation efforts. Technical resources and staff are available at the District Office to assist people with questions regarding natural resource conservation.
The mission of the New Jersey conservation partnership is to provide leadership in the planning and implementation of natural resource management programs for the agricultural and development communities and the general public through a locally based delivery system with local, state and federal partners.
